Howard is a British Wheel of Yoga diploma holder and has been teaching Hatha Yoga for over ten years and has experience of working with students of all levels and abilities.
Over the years Howard has focused on people who have injuries or have stress issues by providing variations and a class environment where people can relax especially if they are new to yoga.
These classes concentrate on alignment of postures and breathing and should be a good fit for anyone wanting to try Yoga for the first time or want a class that is gentler than other styles of yoga class.
All Asana or positions can be adjusted to match the ability of the individual student so they can improve over time. All Hatha Yoga has been developed over many years to help students relieve the body’s lack of flexibility, and their mind of stress. So helping promote a healthy body and a calmer mind.
People thinking of doing any yoga class for the first time must remember a couple of things:
- You don’t have to be flexible to start Yoga you, become flexible by doing Yoga.
- Try not to look at other people in the class because they may be more flexible than you, but that doesn’t matter.
- Yoga benefits all ages
Ideally you would commit to a number of classes to feel the difference, as it takes your body time to adapt to a new way of doing things.
Classes are limited to 6 participants per class to ensure that you are given ultimate attention and guidance.
