Laura is a Yoga Pros qualified teacher and has been
practising yoga for over 30 years, through different stages of life including
pregnancy and injury.
She creates a welcoming, relaxed environment, particularly
for those who are new to yoga. Her classes focus on alignment and breath,
making them a great fit for beginners or anyone looking for a gentler practice,
while still offering options for those who want to go a little deeper.
All postures can be adapted to suit the individual, allowing
each student to progress at their own pace. Hatha yoga, developed over many
years, supports improved flexibility, balance and strength, and can help reduce
stress. It can also support rest and recovery for those with higher levels of
physical activity, and help reduce the risk of injury over time.
If you are new to yoga, there are two simple things to keep
in mind:
• You do not need to be flexible to start. Flexibility comes with practice.
• Yoga is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness.
It is best to attend a series of classes to really feel the
benefits, as your body needs time to adapt. This is also where you begin to
notice steady progress.
Classes are kept small, with a maximum of seven
participants, so that everyone receives individual attention and guidance.
